The Palace for punishment and reprimands, the Palace of Corrective Detention's main room is the Stone Room in which men who have committed sins are lashed. The room has no windows. Equality was sent here often.

When a "citizen" of the society turns forty years old, they are sent to the Home of the Useless, where the State cares for them until they die; it is extremely rare for someone to exceed the age of forty-five.

Sweepers
A grey house with a sundial to keep track of time, this building houses all of the city's street sweepers. It has beds, a dining hall, and tables.
Palace of Mating
Men older than twenty-one and women older than eighteen are sent to the Palace of Mating once a year, where the Council of Eugenics assigns each person to someone of the opposite gender. Children never know or see their parents.

An unexplored expanse of ancient trees that supposedly used to be a civilization from the "Unmentionable Times." The Councils say that on the rare occasion of an attempted escape through the Forest, the men who go in never come out.

A two-story house from the "Unmentionable Times" conveniently sitting in the midst of the Uncharted Forest. Equality and the Golden one are amazed by its extravagance, for they have never seen so much for only two people. The house consists of many windows, and is constructed of smooth material. The rooms are colorful and lit by electricity, the windows are complemented by curtains, and there are many shelves laden with books. Also, there are two beds, garments with colorful personalities, kitchen appliances, and mirrors. All of these are unknown to Equality and Liberty, who have only experienced the primitive technology of their society.
